No terrorist attacks on US since 9/11 hardly proves Bush is completey inept. The policy which proved inept was Clinton's. Explain to me the difference between Kerry's policies and Clinton's. I don't see a significant difference. Waiting on France and Russia for an international consensus was foolish and that's Kerry's main theme.
Iraq is clearly not where we would have hoped at this point. Was it a Bush failure or just a tough job? I believe it was both. I also believe Kerry wouldn't even have tried despite his occasional claims he would have. His other claims that he wouldn't have, make his lack of commitment clear. His constant refrain I have a plan are laughable because he has never presented any, other than ones that already failed under Clinton. Now that is truely idiotic and dense.
The UN can not make peace when they are afraid to enter a war zone. They have become totally useless in their world security function. UN inspectors were kicked out of Iraq under the types of policies Kerry promotes. France and Russia were applying pressure to lift sanctions despite this and we are supposed to believe their motives were entirely pure despite documented bribes from Saddam in the billions.
Some people are real dense on certain issues all right.

Mark
