Another way of trying to sidestep the point.

BTW, do you even know that there is a Great Master Plan at play here on the Administrations side? If there is, can you articulate it in a 20-point list, with all the hows and wherefores listed?

Thought not. Heres laughing back at'cha. Heres all your pained indignation and hyperbole back in your face.

Stupid appeals to ridicule aside:

I'm not going to try to propose specific plans, because it would be akin to a plumber trying to articulate an architecture for an enterprise web service. Its not my area of expertise.

You want to drag this conversation into hypotheticals, appeals to contingencies and fantasy. Where we argue hypothetical cases with hypothetical contingencies. You do this routinely as a response to criticism of the plans forged by 'your side'.

I don't pretend to know all the subtleties of ending this mess, but I can for damn sure tell you that haw we are going about it is absurd. We draft 54 year old grandmothers back inot service while we can't even operate military convoys in the capitol city of Iraq without coming under heavy fire. Its like a plumber logging on to the forementioned website and finding it crashes every 5 seconds. He may not be a Web Architect, but he knows that something is painfully wrong.

Because I, a software engineer in a small city on the Eastern Seabord don't have a concrete 20 point plan all thought out does not mean that Your Way Is The Only Way.

Your 'Wannabe Hick Hubris' aside, that everything in this world is simple and obvious and complexity is just high-falutin nonsense, this is bigger than myself or you.

But even if you ardently believe in the Great Leader, you can tell that something is seriously wrong. We are not going to be able to stay in Iraq at the rate things are deteriorating, and we are not going to be able to leave a stable democracy behind at the rate the 'insurgency' is growing.

"The real trick is "how," isn't it? And the truth the Left does not want to face is that they have no "how" that results in a better Iraq other than what's being done right now."

One thing is clear, we need to come to our senses and stop believing our increasingly absurd sounding rhetoric about how swimmingly things are going. The left has been pretty consistent on that point, and I think its a pretty damn good starting place.

Whats your suggestion, oh great wise one? Sit down, shut up, and obey? That seems to have worked swimmungly so far.
