Mark,

You said:

"I probably won't have time until this weekend, but I was giving Sandy credit for at least reading Zubrin's ideas which a lot of moon firsters haven't or if they have plain just don't get it. Won't know if Sandy falls into the latter until further discussion."

Arguing with moon firsters is usually a bore (like yourself, I've done it too many times). I'm searching my computer archives for the standard give-and-take. I'll trot it out if I can find it. Otherwise I'll just do my mop up response from memory. If you opt to spend the effort on these guys and Sandy doesn't whimp out with a bogus response, I'll copy the full discussion, tidy it up and keep it handy for the next time. What I'd like to eventually have is a bullet proof FAQ for newbie moon firsters. That way when the next bunch comes along, you or I can just dump the FAQ on them and not invest too much effort reinventing the wheel. Please start your response as a new thread at the top. Otherwise it might get lost in the clutter.
