The business major is you. The engineers are not Schmidt. It appears you are also clueless that engineering training requires learning to evaluate return on investment, but since most engineers are math whizes they don't need to study it as long as business majors (at least according to my Chem E design professor). The issue by the way was not business plans or even strictly ROI, it was which material processing options are more feasible and economically practical. And please don't pretend they train most business majors for that.
