Mark,
You seem to misunderstand the questions I was asking you. I was not looking to debate you as I am not a Moon firster as you seem to think in your simplistic view of the world. My interest in the subject was professional, not as an advocate.
What I was really interested in was seeing if you had any counter arguments to the specific points in Tom Matula's commentary. Instead you just keep recycling the same arguments like you are working from a briefing book. I see enough of that on a regular basis and was hoping for some real insight on why the Mars advocates like you are so sure everyone who disagrees with thier views is wrong.
I was also wondering how focusing on Mars will enhance national competitiveness and security near-term as the Moon advocates claim their ideas will. However it seems I won't find the answers to those questions here as you don't seem to be able to do anything other repeat the standard arguments I have heard the Mars advocates use over and over.
Thanks for your time.
Sandy
