"My motto is always trust a business major's evaluation of engineering feasibility over that of engineer[ing major]s."
From the NEEP link:
Lecture 10: "Potential Resources of the Moon" by Harrison Schmidt
Lecture 19: "Potential Resources of Mars" by Harrison Schmidt
Lecture 21: "Asteroids and Comets: Potential Resources" by Harrison Schmidt
Lecture 39: "Economic and Business Parameters for a Return to the Moon" by Harrison Schmidt
Dr. Schmidt is a business major? Hmm, my "Who's Who in Space: ISS Edition" notes a BS in Science, Fulbright Studies at Univ. of Oslo, and a PhD in Geology from Harvard. I guess I need to get an updated copy.
By the same token, perhaps we should always trust an engineering major's evaluation of business feasibility over that of a business major?
Cheers,
Ken
