Remember the Democrats who screamed until they bled from the eardrums that Gore's half-million margin in the popular vote in 2000 utterly and absolutely neutralized Bush's victory and made him an "illegitimate" president?
Oddly, Bush's three million vote margin did not seem to create the same conclusions in whatever passes for their minds. In fact, if Kerry had carried Ohio, I would venture that not one single one of them would have declared him an "illegitimate" president on the same theory.
