A rather significant ommision on your part. My opinions on wmd were certainly wrong and I believe most war supporters have admitted theirs on that issue were as well. Doesn't change the fact that this was a well regarded postion by both political camps and much of the world and you can't make decisions on 20/20 hindsight. Few if any were claiming Iraq didn't have WMD. Most of those firmly against the war did so under of the cover "no conclusive evidence" which turned out to be correct. Unfortunately the credibility of key countries with this stance was low as they supported lifting sanctions despite no inspectors in Iraq to find conclusive evidence (convenient conundrum for some) and had well known financial stakes that turned out to be only the tip of a corruption ice berg. The credibility of those supporting those foreign countries was low due to their turning a blind eye to the conflicts of interest. I have yet to see the left admit that the right had good reason to distrust France, Germany, and Russia. The war supporters don't have to point to postwar evidence either just the same evidence the left ignored before the war which postwar evidence confirms. For that matter I haven't seen any of the anti-war crowd admit you can't make decisions based on hindsight.
