I don't have the time or energy to go back and dig up the photos, or the posts from this site and elsewhere--you know they're out there as well as I do.
At the time the pictures of celebrating Iraqis were dismissed as "irrelevant," or even staged, with one major question being "so, where would they get the U.S. flags?" Maybe nobody else remembers all this.
How smoothly we've slid over into "it never happened at all."
