re: pre-breathing? could you elaborate?
Nobody has as yet built a Soft Suit which would require zero pre-breathing (ZPB).
I started thinking about this statement and need to clarify it.
The Mark III a hybrid soft and hard suit...the one we see in Deep Impact the movie ... is zero pre-breath (8.5 psi?).
One interesting side note is Paul Webb the guy who originally worked in the 1970s on the Space Activity Suit aka Skin Suit has been working on a glove to replace current EMU units which would radically improve touch and reduce hand fatigue. This might be the way to get astronauts to trust the idea of MCP suits.
