Space/Science » in reply to True, but what about on Mars?

Same holds true

Heat capacity scales with local atmospheric density. The density of air on Earth at zero altitude is 1.225 kg/m^3. On Mars at zero altitude it is 1.55e-02 kg/m^3. The density is almost a factor of a hundred less. Without some form of heat rejection, a person on Mars would cook from his own heat.
