On the over heating issue: I've been told that if you can vent your perspiration that this would be adequate to cool you in a skin suit.
But it would seem, if you make long contact with cold surfaces such as rungs of a ladder or soil and rocks or the seat of an unheated rover...I imagine conduction would draw a lot of heat from you..
