I have lived under socialized medicine...
when I was in the military. For 12 years, we had completely government operated health care. With few exceptions, the medical care was of pretty poor quality. I can tell you several horror stories about the "care" that my family and friends received. My family and I get much better quality care in private medicine. Why would I want to go back to a system that featured poor quality, long waits for treatment, and unaccountability? No, thank you.
