Exactly, Raoul
Countries with a socialized healthcare can very well live on a free market economy.
and furthemore, the healthcare doesn't even need to be 'socialized', just publicly available for those who genuinely need it. Why have universal health care for those who otherwise could afford it? That would be descending into ideological socialism for its own sake, IMO. It would be a waste of public funds, and lead to a fiscal blow-out. It would be an expensive, disastrous exercise in ideology - the leftist version, the other side of the coin, of the ultraright ideology which so aggressively swamps the Habitablezone. (for example, where our prolific brilliant idiot savant keeps screaming about 'freedom from taxes' while aggressively promoting a foreign war which costs HIS OWN COUNTRY AND TAXPAYERS about a billion dollars a week!)
