The rebels will print up copies of all the "evil" books and their sales will fluorish. Tom will be printing up laser copies for all who request one for only a nominal fee. Life will go on.
LOL! ;-)
Each evil comes packaged side by side with good. Like a Tootsie Pop with the candy concealed in the center.
I'm going to be quite blunt:
Every evil builds morality. Every hardship and ounce of human suffering is the equivalent of a weight bar to an athlete. Humanity thrives under suffering.
The inquisition made possible the renaissance. The tyrants made possible democracy and the libertarians. Stalin helped to shape Reagan. ;-) The censors help to shape you and your efforts to keep knowledge free and convenient to the masses.
Do you see it?
All evil has good results. Energy as it spreads spurs reactions. It's not in a void. But before I get too technical for folks I'll keep it easily understood:
Opposites attract.
A large negatively biased movement of energy is rushed up to and attracts positively biased energy.
Hitler's negative conquests were met by an equal and greater motion of positive action.
Perspective empowers intelligent decisions. Some might read this post and see it as the basis for moral equivalence. This would only be because they lack even further insight as to the development and ramifications of choice as it relates to constructive/destructive action.
Just because negative attracts positive does not mean the two are equal. Positive action carries the progressive bias.
So progress is made only when positive actions occur. Personal development can only be made with intents that possess positive trajectory.
Negative takes care of itself. Wherever a positive motion exists there is always a retrograde motion which accompanies it. No one needs to actively pursue negative courses of action because they will always exist.
Morality revolves around the development of personal positive and constructive actions of an individual.
The censors can only harm you if you let their actions pervert any of your own good instincts and intentions. What they will do is tend to fortify your beliefs and positive impetus and speed the development and capacity for such constructive actions.
When you understand that these folks believe what they are doing is right and "good" you will see how the universe has created an infinite spectrum of development and that with each new rung climbed, brings forth greater perspective that redefines the actions of yesterday.
