A lot of US military members are killed in training accidents every year. I witnessed one such accident in my Army days. It wasn't pretty.

A lot more military members die in training accidents every year than have died at Gitmo and the other prisons combined. It doesn't surprise me you wouldn't know about that, seeing as how your knowledge of the military (and most other things) appears very limited.
