Two Questions:

1. That WW1 pandemic you mentioned, that wasn't the Infuenza Epidemic of 1918?

2. Would an alien microorganism be dangerous to life on Earth, or would its biochemistry be so different from ours that there would be no interaction possible?

Thinking about pieces of Mars coming to Earth, perhaps with some native cargo inside, what's the latest word on the ALH84001 "microfossils"?
