And while we are spinning our wheels in Iraq, we are powerless to stop other despot-run nations well on their way to producing WMDs.
This is an interesting idea, one I see a lot from the Left. Unsure why tying up our military is a problem for dealing with other nations, unless you're proposing military action or the threat of it. What would we be actually DOING with those extra soldiers, Donald?
For you its not about the American soldiers dying there, or about the veracity of a failed foreign policy...its about in-your-face politics...its about the preservation of political power in America, not about what's right for the American people. I guess in your book some people are more equal than others.
For a lot of anti-war people, it's a lot more about Florida 2000 than it ever was about Afghanistan, Iraq, or terrorism. One symptom is being a hell of a lot more concerned with blaming Bush for failures in Iraq than any possible solutions. You get a distinct impression that if Iraq and 25 million people went up in flames, it would be just fine with them as long as Bush went up with them.
