re: Creation vs Evolution
There is no god nor gods. Plain and simple. Religion is a human-created invention to soothe fears. Christianity iteself is simply a hodge-podge of previous religious systems. The cross is Egyptian, the "holy day" of Sunday was a human decision to co-opt the pagans ("Sun-day"), and the entire myth of virgin birth and a god giving his son to save the world and him arising on the third day was borrowed from Zoroastorianism, which predates Christianity by a thousand years or more.
Sorry to burst bubbles but Carl Sagan would have never hidden behind "faith" (especially since he was an atheist)
