re: I particularly liked...

As a Christian who believes God uses Evolution as a tool to create life, I see there are two sides to how humans came about.

Science explains the physical universe we live in, but not anything beyond that. How can it. We can only see an study the matter we are made of and the laws that govern it. Anything outside of that we have know way of detecting. There could be another universe co existing right here with ours that is made of its own matter that follows different physical laws. When you get down to it, what is out matter anyway. It is mostly empty space occupied by very small partials. I suspect that we will find that the smallest particle of matter is made of energy, since E= MC2.

We don’t know all the answers. And there could be more to our existence than this physical universe we live in. There could be another place made of different matter that follows different physical laws, in which our science has know way of detecting, because our science is based on the laws that govern the very atoms we are made of.

What are you afraid of? I see people here calling the president dangerous because of this. Where is your faith in science. If Intelligent Design is such baloney, then science should have no problems blowing it out of the water. You should be happy students will get to learn the truth about evolution and the truth about Intelligent Design. And since you all are so sure science is 100% correct, then the students will overwhelmingly see the truth of evolution over Intelligent Design.

I see Intelligent Design in the Periodic Table of Elements. Is it such an orderly chart because a scientist made it that way. No. It is an orderly chart because that is the way matter behaves. And the way these atomic particles interact to create all the elements, which in tern do amazing things is simply marvelous.

I used be a borderline atheist. I thought that maybe something intelligent might have created the Universe, but they leave humans alone. And I didn’t see how there could be life after death. Then I had an experience that showed me there is more to our existence than this physical matter we are made of. That was when I realized that science can only explain the physical universe we live in, but anything outside that it can’t.

I believe in evolution, and I believe in science, but I also believe there is more out there than this physical universe. I believe in God. And I believe he came to the Earth as Christ to bridge the gap between him and man, and to experience what it is like to be human.
