A couple of updates and corrections:

Two of the daughters are crack shots, and the youngest is aspiring to become one. At 14, she has only had 2 years to practice. The middle one lettered in rifle, a varsity sport around here, both her junior and her senior year.

The older one has graduated from college and the middle one will be starting college at an art institute in the fall. (The cycle of debt continues.) She wants to be an illustrator. She just sold her first piece, to a lady visiting from Texas. The school was so impressed with her portfolio that they offered her a scholarship worth about 1/3 of her tuition on the day she applied.

We don't know who destroys the books, at least not in the library. If we did, we would bill them. We have our suspicions, and they are mostly middle-aged.

I'm not Wiccan. I do appreciate astonomy-based holidays stemming from my northwestern European cultural heritage, though, and I prefer the northern forests to the desert.

I have not asked you to cease engaging in sexual activities, but I have suggested that you might want to think twice about reproduction. ;) But that was long ago, and I was very angry.
