Nice work on the disintegration and reintegration of the rhyme scheme! Is that meant to reflect the basic literary theme of dis- and reintegration of matter and energy?
There is that underlying theme reflected by the, look inward and then outward sequence.
In my opinion mass and energy are related through this constant integration/disintegration cycle.
Although, when I wrote this poem, that was not the main thing on my mind.
What I was trying to do was to point out the various aspects of human consciences.
First the self-centeredness of seeing only the things made by individuals.
Then the realization that by studying nature we can get a better understanding of ourselves.
And then the wonder of nature in the questions that have not been answered.
