Not that you're seriously interested in how the SDAI POPINTEL PYRAMID was formed, I'll throw these at you anyway so you can go into full refutation mode.
Median Income / Political Divide
SAT scores by race and ethnicity
Race, class, income and party affiliation

Example study of high IQ and personality, political affiliation, etc.
I link to the above to show you the types of statistics that formed the Popintel pyramid. Needless to say, you'll get the idea. Research institutes conduct their own proprietary data research, making those surveys and data collection seem positively incomplete. Such data is used for various projects, such as the Popintel Pyramid.
Naturally, something like the Popintel Pyramid is bound to cause dissension among those who feel it's assumptions are inaccurate, or that statistical representation and survey data cannot be translated into meaningful knowledge of a stratified society.
The SDAI Popintel Pyramid won't mean much to you, but to corporations, government agencies and the like who pay to access such accumulated, interpreted and shaped data- it's a big hit.
