Lee made a good point.
There are far too many liberals who decry the "loss of culture" when some poverty-ridden group decides they'd rather work in a factory and buy TVs than go out and poison monkeys for dinner and watch their kids die early.
These are people, not museum displays, and preserving a culture just so the Enlightened can fly jets out and take pictures of it is not sufficient cause to keep people in that state.
