From what I could find, FUBU seems to be a large, high-class clothing company targeting the black market, and founded by an entrepreneur in 1992 who mortgaged his own house to start it.

The initials stand for "For Us, By Us," and they bill themselves as the first fashion company marketing to blacks actually run by blacks.

While they cultivate a particular image, and target a particular ethnic group, they don't seem any more racist than Gucci is. They make hundreds of millions, and are happy to have ANYONE buy their stuff.
