You want to seek out and convert to middle-class all primative peoples on the globe? Send out teams of trained missionaries to all the primative tribes of Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific and turn them into something resembling contemporary American Indians? And liberals and anthropologists are the villains who interfere with your plans?
I believe every human being has the right to make choices to reach their highest potential, and that elitists who would rather keep them in mud huts with bones in their noses to satisfy their own notions of the Noble Savage are not doing them any favors.
I believe these are men and women, of equal intelligence to anyone else, with as much right to make their own decisions, and not children who need to be "kept" from the evil influences of modern society.
Many people in the poorest areas of Africa would probably saw off an arm to live as well as the poorest Indian on an American reservation.
