I answered some of this below. Do you honestly believe that Bush is the worst president in American history? By what standards? What measurements?

Is his wartime performance worse than that of LBJ, who took us full-bore into Vietnam based on a deliberate deception, a war we eventually gave up on after 50,000 dead troops?

Is his economic performance worse than that of Carter, who presided over double digits in both interest and inflation? How about Hoover?

Ethics? Worse than Nixon or Clinton?

Frankly, Occam's Razor tells me that either these historians don't know crap about history, or that they are letting Bush Derangement Syndrome dictate their responses.
