Actually foreign investment in the USA isn't a bad thing. Even if it is in strategic industries. The key is to make sure that an industry segment is not controlled by a single power (monopoly) or group of powers (cartel).

When Toyota builds a manufacturing plant in Davenport Iowa is that not good for the US economy?
