The dead can't be exploited
Dead people are dead, rotting and being eaten by worms. Surely what you perceive as dishonor pales in comparison to that scenario.
Honor is only relevant while one is alive in my opinion. Since we've never had any indication that Casey and Cindy had a rocky relationship, the evidence points to him having support and honor from his mother during his life. That's all that matters.
By the way Tom, once my heart stops beating, feel free to dishonor me to your heart's content. I won't mind.
