Mortuaries, religions and Rock of Ages tombstone sellers have exploited the dead for centuries - and longer.
The danger of a your attitude towards honor, becomes the tedious slippery slope of human respect.
If we're all going to die someday, why show anyone respect while they are living? Worm food deserves no respect, right?
And if human respect is conditional, what other conditions allow for showing others a lack of respect.
Race?
Skin color?
Job?
Age?
Income?
Political affiliation?
Surely the old GOP folks who are almost worm food should not be worthy of wasting respect and honor upon?
See where it all leads? One has to realize that human dignity is greater than life or death. Human dignity is undying.
Respect and honor transcend human death or the passing from flesh.
All folks, all ages, newborn, dying or dead should be treated with the respect one gives anyone else.
Just my view...
