Tom, same point as always on party ID and what "random sampling" means.
And if you had read my post below, you'd see I noted that the _change_ in approval tracks very well with other polls (e.g., Rassumssen). Whether Bush's "real" approval rating is 34% (CBS) or 40% (Rassmussen), there's no doubt it's dropped 5% or so in the last couple of weeks.
