Bush Approval 34%
Percentage of Republicans in survey 26%

To achieve such a HIGH Bush Approval rating would mean ALL Republicans surveyed thought Bush was doing a great job PLUS 8% of a combination of Democrats and Independents thought Bush was doing a great job too.

So this poll says BUSH is doing a GREAT job and not just pleasing Republicans but a chunk of Democrats and Independents too.

CBS News loves to make bad news out of thin air and any real pollster realizes this is GREAT news for Bush and Republicans. It's not the lowest Bush ratings ever by a longshot - It's merely the most imbalanced poll designed by CBS to come up with a 'fake' news story that was obviously trying desperately to obtain a sub 30% figure.

It means Bush's base is still solid and he's reaching into the Democratic and Independent well for support to boot.
