Billy Jack only fought back when backed into a situation where there was no other way. I have mixed feelings about what our future looks like but the possibility is certainly there of a revolution of sorts if the polarization continues. My "threat" is simply to let the powerful know the same thing that Emperor Hirohito discovered when he attacked Pearl Harbor. "I fear we've awakened a sleeping giant".
You should only consider it a threat if, were our country to turn towards the dark side and eliminate the rights we're guaranteed in our Constitution, you chose the side of power and oppression. In that case you would be my enemy and I'd consider you to be a threat to my family and my country and I'd fight you fiercely and lethally.
Your unwaivering support of the current administration right now I still consider to be only naive political allegiance as abuses equal to the worst regimes of history certainly have not happened here....yet. There are a number of citizens though that firmly believe we're at a turning point where things could go either way. You sluff this off to partisanship but I have never in my 52 years of life felt as unsure about the future of this country and am aghast at the greed, fear, and avarice I'm seeing in the citizenry.
If Air America goes away it won't be because of their inability to attract an audience and advertisers. It'll be for the same reason my little outpost here went away. The opponents of free speech are also the richest inhabitants of this country and they'll use their buying power to simply absorb the various outlets. It certainly beats them storming the stations and burning them down but in many ways is more evil and sinister. It should send shivers to any American.

- Is that last part a threat?
- The threat right now is rhetorical
- Typical: "competition" = "crushed by money"
- Then again, I could be wrong about nobody going "Billy Jack."
