Phoenix is the valley of mega churches with 20 acre parking lots. This is the valley of Mormons and every Christian denomination available. Anywhere you go you're within a stone's throw of a Walgreen's and 5 churches.
Sure, there's a war being waged for folks' minds and any loose change they may have on them and the political power their voting may bestow. Rise above it.
I seldom listen to any talk radio, conservative or liberal, except those rare instances when I'm playing with an old tube radio that has no FM band. Isn't there a local FM PBS station here which gives the left POV?
And hey, it rained (well sprinkled fo 30 minutes) yesterday - what could be a more joyous event?
