KXXT's ratings were not the best.
To believe that a competitor would have to buy the station out to "silence" it is laughable.
Air America is on financial life support from backers. They can't sell advertising. Their ratings suck. They're in 24th place in San Francisco, for God's sake. For reference, my local right-wing talk station is KSFO. Check out its placement.
Meanwhile, Rush's show pulls in millions in advertising, and the man flies around in his own jet.
Sorry, it ain't a conspiracy. It's people making choices on what they want to hear.
