"Demographics will determine this. Large parts of California are little different from Mexico, and it grows more similiar every year. When the bombs start going off in San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, and other cities, we'll see how the fair weather Americans respond."
But do you have the slightest clue of these Demographics. How many people could be said to be loyal to Mexico- and more specifically the State rather than the land and culture of Mexico. It seems like you have a shortage of citizens in Mexico itself who are loyal to the government/State of Mexico. Add to this the Mexicians who vote with their feet and come to America- what percentage of this sub-group are loyal to the Mexican State. It would seem to me be a rather rare bird- probably mostly Mexican elites coming to America to get a better [or different] education than what they can get in Mexico or elsewhere in the world.
Another thing is the people coming across the American/Mexico border aren't neccessarily coming from Mexico- a lot of them are coming from Central America [passing through Mexico].
