Looks like these guys are going to be tried in the newspapers.
Of course, your broad brush leaves out the hundreds of thousands of troops that have rotated through Iraq in the past three plus years who have NOT done these things under similar provocations and much worse.
But then this will wind up as the "Lt. Calley" the Left has been praying for through the whole war, the example they will pound into our heads for weeks on end while ignoring all the other troops who have died rather than put civilians in danger. I imagine there's a lot of glee in some quarters.
