Tom, you're still rooting for GWB's notion's we can somehow "win" over there. I mean, what's up with that?
You're not going to let go of his pre-conceived ideas. I mean even Paul Wolfowitz has admitted defeat and backed down. You're holding on to this fraying rope that Bush and Rumsfeld are holding on to before it breaks. Your defense of their actions and myopia absolutely amazes me. You're like a granny refusing to let the kids out of the house, lest they hurt themselves.

Our intelligence services and international relations are keeping track of the trouble makers. If we step down and get out of there, co-operation might actually INCREASE with a few well placed trade incentives. You have too many bug-a-boos under your bed.
