"Critics are the guys who come out after the battle and shoot the wounded." --Tyne Daly

No need to take it personally. I have nothing but respect and admiration for people who take the huge risks and work their butt off to make something happen. They provide jobs, create wealth, meet a payroll, and put their life and soul and reputation into a business. These are the true entrepreneurs, and I know I don't have the courage or the wit to do that kind of work, and I will always owe my livelihood to people like that who provide me with a place and a situation where I can contribute my knowlege and skills to society.

My problem is with the professional managers and bureaucrats who call themselves entrepreneurs but are nothing but paid employees of companies, the people who don't really know how to do anything but shuffle paper, manipulate a bureaucracy and manage their own careers. And what really ticks me off is the blow-dried wimp MBA types who work for government, non-profits, institutes, think-tanks, media organizations, or as paid employees of corporations who have the audacity to call themselves entrepreneurs and businessmen and talk the free enterprise line but who have never mortgaged their house or run up their credit cards to provide jobs to workers and service to society.

I didn't respond to your comment because I couldn't understand it, I didn't know whether "angles" was a typo for "angels", or just what you meant by "red". I figured you'd write back eventually, and you did.
