I'm starting to regret I submitted this, I certainly didn't mean to ambush anyone.
I think what may have led people on, ER, is your practice of posting non-inflammatory material on Flame. The practice negates the categorization that otherwise would have led people to suspect satire. It looks like you've moved past it to start posting in accordance with the topic conventions, but it's left behind some lingering confusion.
Remember that you asked about it and I said it'd be no problem to keep going that way for a while, so this is not criticism. I approache the Zone as an ongoing experiment, and I wanted to see what happened; and got reaffirmation that the categorizations matter. Since you're now following the system, all's right with the world.
