I think what doesn't make sense to me then is why the stupid on street parking is available at all if the lanes are so damned valuable. In the little section we parked in, probably 8 to 10 cars could fit. Sure seems like we could've all parked in the parking garage easily. That's where I was originally heading when the "golden" opportunity presented itself.

I think this is a mixture between original good intentions and later opportunism for financial padding.

Don't even get me started about the small town crap either. Damn Barney Fifes.
