At a Braves game I paid an official looking parking attendant 10 bucks to park just outside the stadium in a vacant lot.
After the game my car was gone. I was sure it had been stolen and I spoke to a traffic cop about it. He told me it was probably towed since there was no legal parking in the space I pointed out. He gave me the address of the impound which was about 2o miles away. They also towed a bus that had brought a troop of Boy Souts to the game, along with 10-15 other suckers like me.
I had to wait 2 hours until traffic cleared the stadium to get a taxi and since the impound was then closed I had to take the taxi to the airport and rent a car. Got up the next AM and picked up my car at impound for about $150 + Taxi + car rental.
That was over 15 years ago. I am still pissed and have never gone to another Braves game.

- West Hollywood is already dead.
- SoCal has hundreds of miles of streets (maybe thousands?) where parking becomes traffic at certain times.
