Assuming you are not lying, we have transformation from wet drunk to dry. Still abusing people, still breaking promises and full of himself for living a life centered on one person for 28 years.

Oh yeah, you should be proud of yourself. Your "sickness" which you feel compelled to blame on your "inherited qualities" once again conveniently absolves you of all blame. You obviously have a lot of work ahead of you.

Trying to create sympathy for yourself is typical manipulative behavior. Sorry I've got nothing for you but I sure feel sorry for the people you hurt along the way.

Let's see, what's ahead for you now, depression and acceptance perhaps?
