Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Thirty years ago when my neighbours and I saw something that changed our lives around, there wasn't the luxury to dismiss it.
Everything changed that day for me. There was nothing I had learned up to that point that would help me deal with or integrate that into my world view. I had nightmares. I had anxiety attacks. I also felt brushed by the hand of God.

Others, upon hearing my story would say "Oh cool, I wish I could see something like that", and I just shake my head in disbelief. Because it would tear up their world view and make them re-evaluate everything they'd been taught. There is NO WHERE they can go to get answers.

It took me 10 years to digest it and another 10 to process it accordingly. And only now do I accept some of it's repercussions and see glimmers of a larger view.
