I agree - the schedule through to ISS completion has always looking overly ambitious and unsustainable.

One should expect several hurricanes to visit KSC within the '06 - '10 period - and yet the schedule is going to be beaten to death with this one storm, almost certainly by 5 weeks, and potentially by 12 or more.

When the schedule has one launch per quarter...the loss of an entire quarter due to a single storm is not the sort of event the schedule can handle.
