did a google search, and there is one company at least who is marketing parachutes to executive. Precision Aerodynamics. Although I can't find it on their product page. There are plenty of arguments as to why its a bad idea, such as lack of training, false sense of security etc, but it sure as hell beats jumping without one. I think it is the wrong approach to market to individuals. It would be safer to install a parachute system on the building itself. maybe not every floor, but possible every 5th floor above 50. There could be a corridor from the fire escape to the jump platform with a rod that extends outward and downward 20'. Perhaps not so dissimilar to what they have on the shuttle. Since its a building system, exiters who would rather opt for the chute instead of the stairs could take advantage of it should other exiting options close off to them. It wouldn't save everybody, but it would certainly increase the survivor count.
