Insurgency isn't always terrorism. In the case of the Iraq insurgency it's just the goal of removing the existing government. Some insurgents are terrorists others are propagandists supporting them.
If folks want the US to lose and cheer for every defeat, plaster every bit of negative information they can repeat on a BBS and elsewhere...
..and all the while...
...NEVER post anything good when it occurs, always presuming the worst of our troops and leaders...
...then...
...it is correct to say these individuals are part of the homegrown insurgency. Their desired outcome is exactly the same as the insurgents desired outcome: a US defeat.
The fact that they are US citizens or residents makes them merely 'homegrown', but by their actions they clearly are supporting the insurgents - even if their motivation for doing so differs.
Dissent is one thing. Terror cheerleading via propaganda is another.
Folks propaganda efforts here put Orphan Ann (aka Tokyo Rose) to shame.
MA you are NOT an insurgent. You have often made attempts at reasoning out goals, policies, etcetera. The insurgent will have nothing to do with that.
