Bush has had longer than WWII. Iraq had 23 million people, no air force, no navy.
And they beat Bush & Co., and made every conservative chickenhawk look silly, foolish and dumb. This was to be a cake-walk, remember? You've had your fun, messed it up badly.
There comes a time for the big folks to step in and tell the kids to stop hurting people needlessly. And France and Germany are already able to say "we told you so".
The situation is worse now than before Bush and $2 trillion and all those deaths. And getting worse all the time. Isn't it about time to stop digging?
