"Where are the Taliban and al-Qaeda strongest?" Pakistan, if you really want to know.

We drove them out of everyplace else. You are aware that there are very few al Qaeda left in Iraq, and that Iraqis universally despise them, right? Iraq is a "haven" for al Qaeda in the same way that Russia was a haven for Nazi troops.

I have no idea how someone like you would have dealt with 9/11 and radical Islamism if you were President, and have yet to get a consistent answer on that.

You do enjoy the distinction of being probably the only liberal here consistent enough to hate both the Afghanistan and Iraqi wars.

Please remember that when New York and Washington were attacked, we had no troops in either Afghanistan or Iraq, and the Taliban and al Qaeda had all of Afghanistan for a real haven, as well as western Pakistan.

Your representation of either Saddam's Iraq or the Taliban's Afghanistan as an "innocent third world country" is so inane I can't even begin to deal with it.

That the personnel who flew the planes into the WTC and Pentagon were Saudis is as utterly irrelevant as the fact that the people who blew up the subways in England were British.

You have no capacity for abstract reasoning. The soul of a poet, perhaps, but the reasoning power of one, too. Your spleen does all your thinking. You should be writing travelogues, not trying to deal with politics or foreign policy.
