Everyone from the scientific community and the media have been telling us that Carbon Dioxide is the main cause, but is it? If anyone is to buy into the 'gas' thing, it does not just come down to Carbon Dioxide... good grief, we expell Carbon Dioxide when we exhale! Then it would not just be a human cause, but every breathing animal on Earth.
We may as well blame the soda companies for putting all that Carbon Dioxide bubbly in our soft drinks too (personally, I'd be fine without it).
I mentioned this a looong time ago and I still believe that the real culprit is 'soot'... industrial soot. Yes, China and underdeveloped countries in South America are leading the way right now. The fires due to droughts we've had lately (U.S.) don't help either (yes, fauna helps remove CO2).
Just mho.
